Centro COMParte – Colombia

The Centro COMParte is located in the district of San Cristobal (400.000 inhabitants) and more precisely in the neighbourhood of Santa Rosa. Its main goal is to bring a collective space offering cultural, entrepreneurial and spiritual projects. This centre has been imagined and built in a collective way, and with the community as well as with organisations working in cooperation with the parish of Santa Rosa, and the design group Abordo.The Centro COMParte is made to generate social links through various projects both cultural and entrepreneurial in order to tackle the weak presence of public authorities, the lack of opportunities and social division; problems for which the population keeps paying today. Those activities are conducted in a manner that also raises awareness of the importance of good coexistence in order to reinforce the sense of “community”, especially concerning younger members.
