The project Solidarity Education Peru was born in 2010, in Chiclayo, the capital city of the Lambayeque region in northern Peru.

This year, Projeter sans Frontières wishes to reiterate the initiative in Lima, the capital of Peru. The project is being implemented in the district of Independencia, in partnership with the private school Colegio Científico.

This project has four components: 

– The creation of a program of tutoring for children of different grade levels having learning difficulties. For that, we will recruit Peruvian students, volunteers who will continue the project themselves.

–  The implementation of language courses: French, English and Portuguese.

–  Cultural, recreational and artistic workshops, linking the European and Latin American cultures.

–  School trips to cultural venues such as parks, museums etc.

Through this project of tutoring and cultural openness, we intend to reduce vulnerability, the risk of failure and school desertion and even allow the perception of new meanings in learning, increasing the motivation of the students from the Independencia district.
